Hai Friends
Welcome to homepage of KSRclass2000 batch.
" A thing of beauty is joy for ever". This is what best describes what we call
"THE KNIGHTS" of K.S.R.College of Technology.
It was in reference to one of the best batch of students which has ever passed out
from this college, the 1996-2000 .
Who said that fun and education does not go hand in hand?
We are really proud to say that we had just the right mixture of "work" and "play"
and that is what makes us so "different"!
How would any one describe an ideal set of students?
Well the answer is simple - WE.
We had major contributions in the development of our college, be it academics or cultural.
We had an impact where ever we put our foot on.
We did have our hard times, but we never gave up.
We realized that the best way to succeed is always to try just one more time,
and it worked!
The College was bound to flourish with students like us.
Being just the third set to pass out of this college at our times,
we had a lot of responsibilities on us. The impact we were going
to create would have a permanent effect to the reputation of our college.
We realized that, but that never led us into pressure.
We understood that there is a little difference between an obstacle and an
opportunity and were able to turn both to our advantage.
It would be nice to agree that we were naughty too.
Often we had our teachers grinning at us, but they were short-lived.
We maintained a good relationship with our "gurus", treated them with respect,
at the same time had them as our friends, who could guide us through
the rough waters of the sea called "life".
One of the best things to boast about would be the successful
organization of 'TECH FETE 2000" which put our college on the maps.
The event dealing with more than 50 colleges was a grand success
and left us with a feeling of pride and satisfaction in us.
But as you know, nothing in this nature is just perfect.
We did have our share of "injustice". Just when everything
seemed moving perfect, we had one moment which none of us would
like to remember, but neither will be able to forget.
Selva Kumar, from the Computer Science Department, who left us weeping,
who left for his place in the stars leaving us behind in a state of mental shock.
May his soul rest in peace. We offer our tributes to this dude of ours,
in his fond remembrance.
Accepting the reality, we've come a long way today.
But it is indeed a great feeling, to go back to the past and
read the pages of our history. The times we had together are indeed
memorable, unforgettable and are meant to be cherished.
As goes the saying "Success is a journey and not a Destination",
we continue our journey in this competitive world, succeeding all the
way with a constancy of purpose.
